IF statement emergency!!

I need some help finishing (or correcting) the following formula: =IF(-G2,H2 else display H2 as a positive number

Basically what happened is I have a spreadsheet that was exported from another source and one column is displaying a negative number but the result in the column next to it shows as a positive. I need to make it where it will also show as a negative number (can't just format the cell, it doesn't know the source had calculated it as a negative)

Oops, I made an error. What I have so far is +IF(-G2,-H2

=if(g2<0, -h2, h2)
