Placing competitors in rank order based on two scores

    Hello all,

I'm wanting to rank competitors based on two scores. I've had a nosy around the forum and found these posts here, but they're based on the lowest score, rather than the highest score.

Basically, the highest percentage wins (B25 on the Intro A tab). However, if there is a tie between two or more people, then the highest collective score wins (B22 on the Intro A tab). Is there any way that this can be automatically calculated?

Looking at the above example, I prefer their way of laying out the data (i.e. all competitors in one long list), but this would involve a mix of senior and junior competitors.

Is there any way that I can have a long list of competitors for each class, but then having two separate score boxes for juniors and seniors? I'm also missing a box for the horse that is being ridden as some competitors ride two horses, but I think I can work out how to sort that out.

I know I'm a newbie, but I've had to join out of desperation! I've been roped into scoring and need to find an easier way of doing it (after feeling the wrath of a rider at the last comp when I accidentally mixed up the scoreboard! ) Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated!

That is AMAZING! Thank you so so much

Could I ask one thing though? I've tried to add more competitors into the sheet (for when we have massive classes), and I thought I'd changed the equations appropriately so the scoreboard would change too...however, it's just coming up with #N/A and #NAME for each cell. Could you give me a hint of what's going on?

    Column AE are Arrray formulas
They are confirmed with CTRL SHFT ENTER and not with just ENTER
If you do it correctly you see these brackets {} around the formula.

If it still doesn't work post your file and I will look at it.
