3 Tier calculation

I am using Excel 2007

I request experts' help on the below queries if I there are any shortcut formulas compared to what I have been using as per attached my current worksheet.

1) To calculate sales commissions for 1st/2nd/3rd Upline members for a given month and for a given product.

2) To figure out the 2nd & 3rd upline based on 1st upline entry
