Vlookup query : How to pull data from raw excel files into a master excel file?

Hi,

Request your help.

I have attached Excel file with 02 sheets - 1. MASTER FILE 2. RAW FILE.
Query - Daily I will be updating RAW file and want MASTER file to be updated automatically by picking the data from RAW file.

Please help me with the required Vlook up formulas and procedures to be followed.
I am a sales guy and a beginner in excel. Request your help.

Hi James,

Master sheet is already having pivot table which should reflect the data automatically upon refresh. What else you need ?

Dear Dili,

Thanks for your reply.

With available data till date I had made this PIVOT ( MASTER FILE).
But everyday when I add my data to RAW file my PIVOT is not getting updated automatically else every time after updating my RAW file I have to make a new PIVOT till date.

My query is is there a possibility that if we link both RAW file and MASTER file using Vlookup so that each time I have to update only my RAW file and automatically it will get updated in the MASTER file.

Please help with the entries for this.

Okay.. see the attached file where I have used a defined name 'data' as the source data in pivot table.
