    Returning data in one table based on the values from another table

    Help!!! I'm trying to return the value in table 1 from table 2 based on the table 2 criteria

    i want to be able to put in the weight and multipetition max in table 1 so 1 repetition max is shown

    any idea how i can do that?

    We would love to help you with your question, but 1st, in accordance with forum rules, please rename your thread to something more meaningful, that actually describes your problem.

    Because thread titles are used in searching the forum it is vital they be written to accurately describe your thread content or overall objective using ONLY search friendly key words. That is, your title used as search terms would return relevant results.

    Many members will look at a thread title, and if it is of interest to them, or it falls within their area of expertise, they might only open those threads.

    Look at it this way...if you typed that title into google, what would you expect to get back?
    To change a Title on your post, click EDIT on you're 1st post, then Go Advanced and change your title
    1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
    3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

    Thank you soo much for your prompt reply and warm welcome

    I guess you can really tell I'm new here from the way I'm trying to figure my way around here

    I have attached the file in this thread. I'm not too sure, it's successfully done

    Basically, what I have here is two tables.

    The second table is the actual data. This data is actually a fitness test showing how much weight a person can lift based on the reps and weights

    The first table is like trying the progress of a person but I want to be able to put in the weight and multipetition max in it so 1 repetition max is shown

    Is this possible? I'm wondering if it is and I've been trying to play with it for the entire morning now

    Thanks for the title change and Yes now the title seems to be perfect

    Can you please explain how you are getting date's in B5:B10 from where?
    Still I am unable to understand what needs to be done and based on how and where?
