Question Formatting dates between two dates in a list

    Hi,

I'm trying to create my own calendar. I've attached what I have so far.

I've managed to format the calendar dates to show bank holidays, and to grey-out once the date has past (so any dates older than today).

The next part I want to apply, is formatting for any holiday days I have booked. These dates are to be listed in the bottom right table - Cells AC11 to AG20.

I want the calendar dates to format if the dates match or fall between the 'from:' and 'to:' dates listed. So from my sheet, the top three dates are one day only (2 are half-days), but the last entry actually covers 9 network days, therefore I want all of those 9 days formatting on the calendar. I'm not interested in any dates falling on a weekend, or on a bank holiday. As this is for work purposes, I only need to spend my holiday-days on days I would normally be in work.

On top of that, I'd like the formatting to be different for 'full' days, and 'half' days, as mentioned in column AE. So I can format full days as a completely colour-filled cell, or a half day with the gradient fill. If this second part is not possible, it's not a great issue. It's the main formatting between dates that I need the most.

Thanks in advance for any time and help

Re: Formatting dates between two dates in a list

    Anyone?

I've managed to create a conditional formatting rule that works, but it's so messy, and I need three separate rules - one for rows 2:7, another for rows 8:13, and a third for rows 14:19.... Surely there must be something easier than this...!

(my calendar has been amended slightly from the example above - so my list of holiday dates is now in AF2:AG19)
