    Military Spreadsheets Need Help!!

Hello, I am in the military and I work with excel often.
One of the things I use a lot in excel is that I will have multiple tabs with personnel’s names.
I end up having to retype the names and add names on multiple tabs because I cannot figure out a formula or just anything that will allow me to add the names to one tab and the formula will add the same name to the other tabs. If you need any more clarification please ask or let me know any possible solutions.

If you hold down the CTRL key, and select multiple tabs while holding the key.
    then release the key
You'll see the tabs you selected are grouped together, you can tell by the shading of the tab names.
Now, anything you type in a cell will be replicated throught all the selected tabs.

Click any single tab other than the ones you selected before to UNgroup them when you're done.

Question Re: Military Spreadsheets Need Help!!

What if I just want names to be repopulated? I noticed that your suggestion worked with the names but it also added every cell I altered to the other tabs.

You have to pick and choose on your own when to use that technique.

do the CTRL key while selecting multiple sheets
    Enter the names
then UNgroup the sheets by clicking some other sheet that was not included in the first step.
Then you're back to normal, only editing 1 sheet at a time.
