    please anyone let me know how to convert number i.e. 01062010
    to date format i.e. 01-Jun-2010

    =DATE(RIGHT(A1,4),MID(A1,3,2),LEFT(A1,2))

    My Post #4 suggestion fails when the Regional Date And Time Setting is set to MM-DD-YYYY, so please ignore it and use the formula suggested by benishiryo in Post #2.
