Need formula to calculate running score total for different teams across different games??

I would greatly appreciate any help with this problem. I have basketball data in which I have the outcome of each play, but not a running score total for each team. I need a formula to calculate the running score total for each team. The tricky part is that there are a number of different games (each with different teams playing each other) in my dataset.

I have attached a sample spreadsheet with some of the data I have. I have highlighted in yellow the two columns that I need help creating using a formula. Thank you so much in advance for any help that you can offer!!

Use a Pivot Table. You can use games to filter out the result, or you could sum up by games. PT is very flexible. See attached

Thanks for your response! However, I need a running score total after each play, not just the sum for each team for each game. Does that make sense? The solutions columns in my original attachment are what I am seeking to reproduce with a formula. Can a pivot table help with this? Thanks again.

I need a formula that re-creates the two yellow columns in my original spreadsheet. The column labeled "RUNNING SCORE TEAM 1" tracks the running point total of team "SAS" from the "team" column. For example, you'll notice that team SAS scored points in rows 5, 7, 12, etc... The value in the column labeled "RUNNING SCORE TEAM 1" tracks this running total. Same thing for team "DAL" and the "RUNNING SCORE TEAM 2" column.

To give you some background, these are individual plays from NBA basketball games. The "points" column reflects each time one of the two teams scores, but the data does not currently have any way to track the ongoing score of the game. This is what I need help with.

It is complicated because there are multiple games that I need to do this for and obviously two teams involved in each game. I have only included a tiny sample in the spreadsheet I attached previously.

Also, just to clarify, I am NOT trying to calculate the score at the end of each game. I need the updated score after each row of data.
