=IF(E7="YES","DONE",=WORKDAY(Q7,$E$4,'Built Time Line.xls'!HOLIDAYS))
if an adjacent cell E7 has YES value then say DONE, if it is NO (or something else) then run the =workday formula.
Thanks
Alan

You need to take away the "=" in front of workday, so:

That did it - thanks Spitzer
No problem. Glad I could help.
Mangrove, Im happy you managed to solve your question
I would like suggest that you take a moment to read the forum rules.
1 of the rules states that you must use a thread title that accurately describes you problem, along the lines of how you would phrase a google search - what sort or response you wou expect google to give with this title?
Also, based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED. If your problem has not been solved you can use Thread Tools (located above your first post) and choose "Mark this thread as unsolved".
Thanks.
Also, as a relatively new member of the forum, you may not be aware that you can thank those who have helped you by clicking the small star icon located in the lower left corner of the post in which the help was given. By doing so you can add to the reputation(s) of those who helped.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
Regards
Ford
