    Exclamation Hotel Reservation Spreadsheet - check in & out dates listed - need total in house & occ %

    Check out my sample workbook with sample reservations listed - I need a formula to calc how many IN HOUSE reservations there are at any given time AND based on 22 properties, what my occupancy % is at any given day. Thanks guys!

    There is no data regarding occupancy and what are you referring to when you say in house?

    sorry Bill - Notice the check in and check out dates as a range - I need to have a total of in house (meaning if a certain date listed below on left falls in the range of check in and out it creates a 1 to then be totaled together for a total of all in house) in the column below labeled "total in house" and then take that info and create a total occupancy for the day based on the total # of in house out of a total of 22 properties

    Another easier way to think of in house is this example - Check in June 1 and check out June 3 - June 1st, 2nd & 3rd this property would be "in house"

    How would this formula work if you didn't want the check out day calculated into the total? Technically that last day opens up, as people are checking out. Thx.
