Formula is correct but the value is incorrect. What are possible reasons? Settings? Etc.?

There are 8 pints/gallon
Each tub holds 10 gallons.

Calculate the total number of gallons sold.

The correct answer is 37,259 using this formula: =B6/B$1+ROUNDDOWN(D6,0)*B$2

A student's answer is 499,44. I have exhausted all of resources trying to determine why her value is incorrect when she is using the correct formula. Any ideas? Maybe an incorrect computer setting? Thanks for any assistance someone might be able to provide. Screen caputer is attached. Susan

Looking at your picture it seems the numbers in cells B1 and B2 are entered as times 8:00 etc. with the colon. That produces 499,494. Enter as numbers.
