Formulating by dates

I have a chart that has a column with dates down thousands of rows of data. The dates run from 5/11-4/13. In another column is a Net Value number. Is there a formula where I can calculate if that net value number falls in between the dates (5/11-4/12) or (5/12-4/13)? So when i put the formula in a new column it will show the which time frame the net value falls under per row.

What I'm trying to do is something like =IF(OR(5/2011<G3<4/2012.....) so it can calculate if my Net value is between those months or not
