Vlookup & Sum if possibilities

    Hi,

    Not sure how to explain this but here goes;

    I have 2 spreadsheets - the 1st one is an order log which lists names and orders written, we used to manually enter this but now it all pulls from from an exported file via vlookup on the order number, some results are blank and i've used isna to remove the #na's.

    The 2nd spreadsheet is a summary and list the names, how many orders have been issued and how many have been received. The formula previously was =SUM(('FB PO''S'!$C$2:$C$29442=$B26)*('FB PO''S'!$F$2:$F$29442=$J$7)) - i'm not even sure what this formula is called, have not used it and only inherited the screapsheet

    The 2nd part of this is referencing a blank cell, it did show how many blank cells there are under each persons name. But now the column it's looking at has no actual blank cells only formulas. I've tried copying the formula into J& but it doesn't work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    DC

    Hi,

    This is difficult to understand without seeing the data. Please could you upload the file?

    If it was looking for blank cells, it was probably looking for "" Now that there are formulas instead of blanks, what do they return if there is no value to return? This is what you probably need to adjust in your formula
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
