Remove Text from Cell with Mixed Characters, Sum Remaining Numbers

Hi,

I only have Excel Starter 2010. I don't know anything about VBA or macros. Is there a way, using formulas, that I can remove the text from this line of characters in a cell? I would then like to add the remaining numbers, fwiw.

Sample lines:

P1(BB) bets 2, Me(SB) calls 2

P1(BB) bets 10, Me(SB) calls 10

Me(SB) raises 0.75, P1(BB) calls 0.50

Sometimes there are more than two numbers in a cell. The numbers will always be preceded by "bets," "raises," or "calls."

Can't we use " Text to columns" ( using delimited) and split the text and numbers first. Then just sum the require numbers. Will that work?

To Sum the numbers try this CSE array, confirrm with Ctrl+Shift+Enter not just enter. then drag down.

Elayaz, Text to columns is not available in Excel Starter.

Additionally, I would like the process to be automatic. I want to be able to paste the inputs into various cells and have the output as automated as possible.
