    Missing data in rolling averages

Hi, just found and joined your forum.

I have had a look for the answere elsewhere and played with the problem for a week with little progress. Probably could not find the answer as its difficult to explain and so I don't know what to search for, but, here's my attempt.

I am sent weekly meter reads from several sites, and report back the results. Unfortunately the sites are not relieable and often data goes missing for weeks on end, I then receive the present meter reading with not of the missing data. Presently I average the figure out for the missing weeks and enter them manually, but its a pain. Is the any way I can automate the process. So when I type the missing data in, the average is calculated and 'backfills' the empty cells?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Morning Bob

Itr might be worth you looking into the Trend and forecast functions... If your readings are time stamped, these will calculate usage regardless of the number of data points ..
