Matching multiple columns and rows

Hey guys, really confused now and need help.

I've got a data sheet (attached) where I get data about what actions the website admin has done row two for example what day. I want to generate a report about how many actions he is doing every day. Row 2 for example applies for the same user - which he Approved and then Edited. Now I want all actions for 2013-06-23 calculated so: how many users were Approved. how many Edited?

I cant seem to get the Match function to work with multiple rows of same data. Any ideas?

Sorry for being unclear. I basically want to count all different actions, and how many times the action is done per day. So User edited, approved and item approved.
