How do I get Excel to automatically fill in the days of a month in a Column.

I am a novice with excel and I am trying to set up a sheet to track: The date, time taken, Blood Pressure, Heart Beat, Fasting AM glucose reading and 2 Hrs after Lunch. I am a Diabetic and this is important info for me to keep track of for my Doctor.

In column B I am trying to get Excel to start at B9 with the date for the first day of the current month and fill in the correct dates down to B38 or B39 with the last day's, date of that month.

What formula would I use to insert "8/1/2013" in B9 and end in B39 with "8/31/2013", so I don't have to manually do each date for all 31 days ?

I would like to insert the first day of the next month, "9/1/2013" and have it do it all automatically again for the next month.

Is this a possibility? or Do I need to change the format to make it work?

    One way could be this.

In B10 and drag-copy down use this.
