    Sumproduct problem

    Hi all

Long time reader, first time poster!

I would very much appreciate any help that could be given on my problem.

On Sheet 3 in K9 I am wanting to populate this with the count of those cells in Data Entry that score 9+ in January 13 and so on for the rest of the year and the other brackets (7-8 & 0-6).

I'm using 2003 so I cannot use COUNTIFS and a quick search suggest SUMPRODUCT but I kept getting 0 back as my value which obviously is incorrect.

I would welcome any help offered.

    Many thanks
    James

    Re: Sumproduct problem

It can be done with sumproduct.

I prefer a pivot table solution.

    See the attached file.

    Put this in K3:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

In L3 you will need this:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

and in M3 use this formula:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

Then copy the three formulae down.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
