Hi. I've got a dbase of about 7,500 rows so the thought of manually doing this with all the duplicates isn't making me smile. Hoping someone has a solution for me. This is a list of names/ addresses with a lot of duplicate names, but some of the duplicates have missing data in one of the columns that is contained in the other duplicate rows. I'd like to be able to have a function to first identify duplicates and then make each column of the duplicate rows the same (preferencing cells with data over ones without). That'd make it a lot easier for me to delete duplicates and not accidentally get rid of the data that might be missing in some columns. Probably pretty simple, but not to me. I appreciate your input.
Here is an example:
Company Email Title Type Phone
Customer A [email protected] (blank) A (blank)
Customer A [email protected] Owner (blank) (blank)
Customer A [email protected] (blank) (blank) 414-444-2211
Thanks. Sorry about formatting of example...hope it's clear what I'm shooting for.
