If cell is negative multiply by -1 formula

Hi all,

I need some help with a formula that would be put in column B and check if the value next to it column A is a negative and if it is to multiply it by -1, but if not just multiply it by 1.

Is this possible?

Sorry I should have been a bit more specific. I'm trying to convert negative times into positive ones. So when I try to use an absolute value for time it comes out to some odd number like 1xxx hours, but if I just multiply it by -1 it comes out to what I want it to be.

I'm not sure why it does that, but it's just the formating of the cell.
But it is the correct value.

Just Format the cell with the ABS function as a TIME instead of a Number.
