Matching Criteria from adjacent dates

Hi there,

When looking at human resource leave data I am interested in knowing if staff are taking a sick day before or after an annual leave day.

My data set includes the date, employee name and the leave type taken.

Is the following example John has taken Sick leave next to Annual leave.

Is there a formula that will pick this up?
