Locating a value or text string in an array when column and row position are unknown

Hello all. I'm new around here and this is my first post. I looked here among other sites at length before registering so please be gentle if the answer is all sorts of stupid-easy.

I consider myself an intermediate level excel user and am familiar with many of the various Lookup functions individually and in combination. I am stumped, along with my office-mates, trying to cobble together a formula that will find a unique value (text) in an array when the array has no row headers or column headers as a starting point. Basically I want excel to search each row within the array consecutively until it finds the lookup value. The goal is to return the value from an adjacent cell.

The final version will be many times larger than the attached sample and I'd love to avoid direct cell references when pulling values for the summary table. I'd also like to not be constrained with regard to the structure of the flow chart, though it's not looking good for me to have it both ways.

Turns out I am not allowed to attach the sample. Maybe I am too new. I uploaded the sample to google drive at the following web address. I hope this is sufficient.

EDIT: File attached

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Unfortunately, not all members can access file hosting sites like google docs (company firewalls and stuff)

If you tried to upload here and it would not let you, it was probably because the file was too big, not because you are too new? Try chopping it down to just what you need to show what you are working with, along with a few sample answers

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

File uploaded to original post, aka shameless bump.
