Unhappy Calculate 365/180/90/30 days from today date

    Hi folks.

    I have the following table:

Date Type Pts Running Total # Days from "Today's Date"
    3/26 Late 0.5 0.5 128
    4/11 Call Sick 1 1.5 112
    5/3 Call Sick 1 2.5 90
    6/14 Late 0.5 3 48
    6/19 Late 0.5 3.5 43
    6/24 Call In 1 4.5 38
    7/18 Late 0.5 5 14
    7/30 Call In 1 6 2

365 day pts: (sum of pts <=365 days from today)
180 day pts: (sum of pts <=180 days from today)
90 day pts: (sum of pts <=90 days from today)
30 day pts: (sum of pts <=30 days from today)

I'm trying to enter the sum of "pts" based on the above (365, 180, 90, & 30 day). Of course, the list above is just a sample of a much larger list.

I've tried the index and match formulas, but it's just not coming up and not sure where to go with it next.

    Thanks for your help,
    Don

Assuming your dates in column A and points to count in C:

    365 days

    180 days
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    90 days

    30 days

Did you want to have these subtotaled for each row instead? (as in, have each incident show total points for these time ranges)

That's great daffodill11. However, since I wont know the last row of the table, what would you suggest to insert to find the last row ($A$2:$A$??)?

try the attached (it is always appreciated if you provide a sample file):

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
All good ideas are courtesy resources from this forum as well as others around the web.
