Red face Calling Advanced Non-Mouse Excel Users (Keyboard Masters)

    Hey guys,

This question is very specific. Might be a little hard to explain but here goes:

When you start a formula for the first time, e.g. =max( then press the left arrow, it will go to cell to your left, allowing you to move around the sheet.

But, if i go back to the cell, press F2, change the formula and press the left arrow, the cursor will move within the formula bar and not navigate around the sheet.

How can I make the left arrow navigate around the sheet like it does originally?

Is there another way to access the formula bar? A VBA workaround?

    Cheers guys :D

Press F2 when in the formula..

Observe the Bottom Left Corner of your screen. There Are 2 Different Modes you can be in. 1) Point mode 2) Edit Mode.

    Check both..

HAH! So simple! I thought I tried that but I think I spammed f2 and probably switched it back on.

    Thanks for your help :D
