    Extracting Sum in one sheet with daily data being refreshed in another sheet.

    HI All,

    I need help for excle formula,

    I want to get total count of each RCA Code (B6:N6) in sheet 2 for a particular date by picking data from sheet 1.

    i tryed Vlookup with Countif but it did not work...

    Can any budy help..

    i am attaching sheet ..

    Another approach.

    I used pivot table to get the result.

    Thank's but pivot is ok for daily basis , what i am looking for is to maintain record in sheet 2 for which i need a formula which can pick data from sheet 1 .

    A pivot table can do that.

    But since you only have data from 1 date, it can't be shown in the pivot table (in this excel file).
