Alternative Formula for multiples IFs (to make my formula shorter)

    Hi Guys,

I have an excel file that tracks all Equipment (received - returned - inspected), it has
14 different status, based on dates, i did tried the multiple IFS combined with OR/AND
functions, however it is a VERY LONG formula (I think i used 13 IFs) to make it work.

My question is...IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE FORMULA TO MAKE IT SHORTER, im
thinking a CHOOSE function or any function that would make it shorter but with same
    results.

i have attached my sample cutdown file.

    Thanks in advance Guys.

    Diego

A potential option would be a VBA solution.

Here is one VBA option available to you.

I tried with few helper columns & minimal 'if' statement.
