Hi, please see the attached excel sheet. i want to total the number of appointments per Sales Rep per day and insert same in the dates from I3 tot AM3. The outcome should be that I see the number of appointments per sales rep per dat in the date cells. Thanks
Perhaps in I3 and copy down and across.
=SUMPRODUCT(($F$2:$F$500=$G3)*($B$2:$B$500=I$2))

Thanks typo but it seems that something is not adding up correctly - in my data the sales rep have ONLY 2 appointments on 15-08-2013 but after calculating there is 10? Do you perhaps have an answer? Thanks again
You can use COUNTIFS in .xlsx files....
=COUNTIFS($F$2:$F$500,$G3,$B$2:$B$500,I$2)
copied across the table
