    I'm not all members, but maybe that will do for you also

    I made an table of your data.

    I used VLookup, to determine the quartal (there are other options to).

    After that I made an pivot table of it.

    After that I made an graph of it.

    See the attached file.

    Please reply.

    hello oeldere,

    Many thanks for your reply . I really wouldnt want to put a pivot table as I wanted to take the results in the next sheet in trhe similar format. so basically my next sheet will be with the four quarters,(Q1,Q2,Q3 etc) for the countries which are reference to the current sheet. Do you think any other ways?

    daffodil,
    Many thanks. I tried to work on the formula you have posted and it works somewhat fine for me.

    I have attached my file so you can have a look at what i need. Is there any possible way where I can automate little more (instead of changing the month for each quarter like "Jan","feb", "mar" "apr,"may","jun" etc?

    Once again your earlier post was very helpful!!! thank you

    @dummyboy
