I am trying to analyse, in a set of data that how many followup made by a salesman between a particular set of dates. I've attached a sample. In this example I differentiate between people if the name and age are same. I know that it is possible with formula 'countifs' or any other formula but how? Please help me.
Are your data coming from a system? as the "Date" is not valid Date format.
Can you change that on the point where the data are coming from or you have to do it manually?

It is extracted from a database which stores it in this format. System displays it in this format i.e. 29/04/2013. Though it is not an issue because I have to analyse it separately and I often change them very easily using "text to column" option and re arrange them using "concatenate" formula. I have now changed and re-attached it.
Thanks Fotis1991, I have a little problem. When I paste the formula in my database, it doesn't work. Even if I paste it in sheet 2 of your attached file, it didn't worked. I am unable to find the problem. Please help.
In your attachment, formulas work fine even in sheet 2...As i can see..
For your real workbook, what can i say? I don't see it...Just some thoughts.
Are your data in the same columns-cells as your sample? If not you have to modify the formulas to fix the needs thera.
Dear Fortis1991, please do me favor for one more time. I am attaching the workbook data in original. I am really unable to figure out the problem, is it in my PC or I am making some mistake? I think the problem is with circular reference, because my MS Excel warns me about circular reference and suggests to "enable iterative calculation" in excel option, which I have enabled.
Ok. It's a little complicated. Firstly pls don't upload all this hudge file. It's just kills my computer..

Dear Fotis1991, I am heartily thankful to you for taking pain for me and solving my problem. I am really sorry for inconvenience caused to you by my mistake of uploading such a huge file. I will take care in future. The issue you indicated is that in my data if the name of customer is same for two people but age is different then they are two different people. Hence I made a little change in your formula and it did it fine as I expected. Again thanking you.
