For some unknown reason some of the formulas have stopped working in my Excel 2007.
For example: =if(c2>5,2,1) or =if(c2>"5",2,1) no longer returns the correct result?
Any ideas why this would of suddenly stopped working?

hi Afix. you might have the calculation option turned to Manual. can't remember where it is in Excel 2003. i think it's under Tools -> Options. try to find a Calculation option & make it Automatic. in Excel 2007 & above, go to the Formulas tab -> Calculation Options -> Automatic.
if it doesn't work, attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Thank You Ever So Much Mate. That worked a treat.
