Formatting a table to pull data - Array formula?

    Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read my question. I've provided a sample file to illustrate my question.

I have a bunch of data I need to organize into a table. I'm confused on the best way to do this: (pivot table, array formula?). The data is a little complicated because there are several groups and subsets.

I am comparing 3 things (returns, standard devation, and Sharpe ratio) across four time horizons (3 year, 5 year, 7 year, 10 year). For each of the three things I am comparing, there are two different approaches (fundamental and quantitative), each within the same style grouping (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5). Finally, there are four size groups (A to D). Based upon the data in the spreadsheet, is there an easy way to manipulate it into the blank table on the first worksheet?

Thank you in advance for taking a look at my question!

    Best,

You work with merged cells, you get problems with that, sooner or later.

Please also add the desired result in your sheet (and show the forummembers where the data comes from).
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

The merged cells are just to make it easier to label each part of the table. The finished product would pull the return, standard deviation, and sharpe ratio for both the fundamental and quantitative approaches within each numbered style from the tabs where the raw data is located. In other words, the data in the worksheets labeled "Returns" "StdDev" and "Sharpe" would be re-arranged in the "Style Matrix" table based upon its membership in a size group (A through D), membership in a style group (1 to 5), and membership within a time horizon (3, 5, 7, or 10 year). I've re-worked the raw data to better show what I am talking about, and have attached the new workbook to this post. Thank you again for reading.

    Maybe with an pivot table.

See the example for the 3 years.
