The user will select the day of the week and Dept letter using the filter buttons.
The totals box automatically update with the number of customers in the Day and File number I have not included the formulas in this work book for that to keep size down.
I want the green box with red around it to show .
1 which day the user has selected.
2 the department they have selected.
And finally I need a formula to read the selected day from the stats box the user has chosen and to show the user the File number with the least amount of customers in it to keep it all even and when the stats are equal to pick a random file no and display it in the green box ive surrounded in red.
So to cap it off when the user picks say Monday A the formula would tell them to place the customer in File 3 which has the lowest amount of customers hope this explains what im stuck on.
Im putting this example with excel 10 but my works excel is 2003
