    Need advice on how to automate copying one cell into many cells in Excel 2010

    Hello,

    I have two workbooks, and I am trying to automate copying a rolename and number from two columns on one workbook into two columns on another workbook, but multiple times in succession. For instance, one rolename and role number will be associated with 20 channels. Thanks

    Have you considered just referencing the data you want?

    Maybe something like, copied down...
    =[Book1]Sheet2!$A$1

    That works! I have to play around with it a bit to get it to populate the spreadsheet, but thank you for the much needed information!
