Adult baseball league schedule

Trying to simplify a league schedule.I currently do everything manually

need a master schedule for X# of teams (may vary season to season)
I'll upload what I did for the spring season for 7 teams and the fall so far for 7 teams
looks like this fall season may have up to 10

similar to a round robin schedule with full game schedule every Sunday for spring season
the fall adds in a single game for Monday and Friday nights

any help would be appreciated

What are the actions that you do manually that you want to automate? Do you want something that will take a list of teams and automatically generate the game schedule?

I find this kind of an interesting problem, since I coached Little League for a few years and always toyed with idea of doing this for the league but never seemed to have the time. By the way, did you do all of this manually? Even if you have to build the master schedule manually, it would be straightforward to generate all the rest with formulas, but that's not what you're asking so let's plunge forward.

I need to ask you a few questions. I am looking at the fall schedule first.

1. Your fall schedule does not say which day the games fall on. You said one game Friday, one game Monday. How many games can you schedule on a given Sunday?
2. You have up to 6 games schedule the same week, sometimes more than one game on the same field. What are the constraints on field usage?
3. Over the course of the season, a team plays some teams twice, but some only once. What are your rules/constraints for this?

I will probably have more questions after we get into it a little bit more.

Yes I did that all manually I just carried the spring schedule over (have not added dates to fall sch. yet)
the # of teams may change season to season NOTE spring had 7..this fall we may have 9 to 10

1) all teams play every sunday one game each starting 9/1 at 9 am time slot only and we have an additional field(JC) for night games only one game monday and one game friday,those match ups change.( I just took last week of season and worked back to fill in (JC) games

2) SUNDAYS we have up to 5 fields available i assigned every team a HOME filed and the schedule takes care of assigning where you play. The commish of our league assigned some teams the same
home field,(for travel reasons) when that happens I can just change that manually

3) we had 7 teams I used a round robin format so every one played each other once than just repeated weeks 1 and 2 (by switching home and away to complete 9 game schedule (week 10 is playoffs and is a seeded schedule)

what I did manually works well...I just need/want to automated it so it less time consuming
I have no skills in formulas/macros
no rules/constraints

I have downloaded a couple off this forum, but they did not quite work/match what I needed
