formula to move random numbers from one work sheet to another in sequential order

I am working on an inventory spread sheet. On sheet 1, a barcode number is scanned into any cell in column A which has addition data in cells B,C & D in the same row. I want to be able to scan the number into any cell in column A sheet 1, it checks sheet 2 for the corresponding number in column A which is in sequential order. When it finds the corresponding number it populates all the corresponding data across the cells in the same row. The cell being scanned into on sheet 1 may be A5 but the sequential number on sheet two may be in cell A43. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

I tried to up load work book called sequential number. Hope it worked. the barcode number scans into the Asset # on the "OPENED" sheet
then should check the "ALIST" sheet for the corresponding sequential number.

I'm a newbie with minimal understanding of coding. I tried to use your solution on the downloaded file the way it would need to work without success. Re stating my need, Looking at the Asset# column on the "ALIST" sheet that has all the sequential #'s, there are some without the rest of the cells in the same row populated. The idea is to populate those rows with data from the "OPENED" sheet asset # entry which may be in cell 5 but the corresponding number on the "ALIST sheet is in cell 83. I need a way to make that happen. Thanks for all the help.
