Remove one smaller database from larger, master customer database

    HI,

I have a master customer database with 3300 customer details. I also have a smaller database of about 600 customers, these are included on the master database. Is there anyway I can easily remove the 600 from the 3300? I could paste them together, alphabetise them and manually delete. I have also seen a thread which explained how to highlight using conditional formatting, but this would, as I understand, still require me to manually delete each row. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Just to be clear, each customer is on a row but their data occupies more than one column.

    Thanks

You could use something like this.

Assuming that big list is in sheet1! column A starting in A2 and the small list in sheet2 starting in A2.

So in B2 of sheet1 put this and copy down as you need.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Filter by TRUE in column B and delete all these records.
