Hi, I'd like to be able to auto-populate cells based on data validation selected and a free form ($ amount) selected from another cell. I imagine this to be a VBA function, if even possible.
In short, I'm budgeting and based on whether a cost is incurred monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually I would like the dollar amount entered in an adjacent cell to populate in a particular month.
For instance, if Fuel costs (per column C) are incurred monthly (per column D), and we budget $1000 (per column G), I'd see $1000 in each month of the year (in columns K-V).
Likewise if Coolant costs are incurred quarterly and we budget $3000 per quarter, in March, June, September and December, I'd like to see coolant costs reflected.
Again, not exactly sure that this is possible even with VBA, but it would save me a TON of time, so just throwing it out there.
