    Reorganising data in a spreadsheet

    Hi,

Hopefully this is the correct forum....

I have a large spreadsheet with about 3,000 products in it - the Product Code being the main index of the worksheet.

For each product this is a cell that contains a list of Compatible Items, sometimes zero, sometimes over 40. Unfortunately in this cell the Compatible Items are separated by commas, although needless to say these items can be easily converted into individual cells if need be, although I am yet to do this.

What I am desperate to do is to convert the Compatible Items into individual rows, effectively as the index, and then insert/convert the relevant Product Codes into a cell that can be referenced against the specific Compatible Item in the spreadsheet.

I think it is best explained with a sample spreadsheet, which is attached.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Regards,

    Mr N
