See attached file, please.
Rows 1 through 3 are my data. Row 3 shows the total for Dan, followed by the total for Bill, then Jim's total.
Rows 8 through 10 are how the data might look later on.
I want in Row 3, that the left-most cell under each person has their total.
My problem is that the number of columns each person has, will change (as they do between my two sets of data). What formula can I put in Row 3 (and 10) so that it will "know" how many columns each person has?
Is there a formula that can do that, or is this a job for pivot tables (or some other cool method)?
