Index and Match or something else for this spreadsheet?

I have tried many different formulas to get my result and have had no luck. Can anyone help me to populate the "calendar" set up on the schedule tab with the data on the list of classes spreadsheet?

I am using a drop down list at the top so it will populate the cells below automatically.

I would like to show which class is in the room at a certain time by choosing a drop down option.

Any help on this would be wonderful!

Hi - welcome to the forum.

Please see attached. Is this what you had in mind?

Only the C1 drop down affects the table. B1 (day of week) and F1 (Lec/Lab) are not required for the table. Is that right?

    Cheers

Most welcome. I forgot to mention that I've had to unmerge cells as the formula does not work in merged cells. Hope that is not a problem.

[SOLVED] Index and Match or something else for this spreadsheet?

Unmerging the cells is fine and to answer your question from earlier, the drop downs for Day of week were just from things I was trying to get it to work.

    Thank you.
