I have a table that includes table names of Claim Number, Month, and State. Claim number shows multiple times as results are at the bill level and there are multiple bills per claim. I need to know how many unique claim numbers show when i'm looking at let's say New York in February. Can anyone help?
Hi,
try this:
- sort the data by State and Month
- copy and then paste all the Claim Numbers for NY,Feb in a new sheet
- on the Data menu ribbon, 'Remove Duplicates'. That should leave you with the unique claim numbers.
