Formula killing one laptop, not the other

How come the formula I made here: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ther-cell.html
runs fine on one of my laptops and completely kills the other one? They are both about 2 years old with quad mega giga and all that. Hmm... now that I think about it I start to wonder if it's not a matter of different laptops, it's a matter of different occasions.
Anyhow, if anyone cares to open it and see how it runs on their pc. I'm fairly pleased with the formula but I do recall something about there being a lot of text in one cell. I can't even open it on this laptop now. Fortunately OP seems perfectly happy with it.

I noticed it on a VBA project at work as well. My computer was noticeable sluggish handling my VBA Excel application. A colleague (the user fortunately) with a similar HP laptop had virtually no delay what so ever. Everything was instant. Makes me wonder if there is a setting to be manipulated... What about how many processors it's using? Is it something that if you are using 4 on light duty tasks it becomes slower because of the cost of overhead?

Dunno... it popped right open on both my Mac Excel 2011 and my PC with 2013, no lag at all. Seems to work fine.
