capture value of a changing cell into data table

What I want to do is have one worksheet that follows my bank balance, and another that has a data table that automatically updates everyday (column A of data table is date; column B of data table is amount for that day). I already have the first worksheet done as that is a simple =sum(A:A) to tell me the total amount of all the monetary values that I enter. However I do require assistance getting the Data table (that I will turn into a line graph) to automatically capture the value at noon everyday and place it into the correct position on the data table.

Help would be greatly appreciated

I have no experience with anything besides formula's in excel, so I have no idea how to implement what you have just given me...

I got into the VBA section (which is where I know it goes) but I don't know which cells to reference where in order to make the macro do what I want it to do.
