Calculate if Time range appears in an other Time range

Evening All,

I would like to identify how many hours appear inside a time range.

Overtime range 18:00 to 02:00

Hours worked 14:00 to 02:00 = overtime 8 hrs
Hours worked 08:00 to 22:00 = overtime 4 hrs
Hours worked 22:00 to 05:00 = overtime 4 hrs

the start time and endtime are in separate columns the hours in adj column

I edited the fractions to refer to the cells H2 and I2, the overtime range...Worked perfectly

but when i used a range inside 24hr 18:00 to 22:00 it calculates to many hours

Please find attached file with amended formula,
as mentioned above.

If I change i2 cell to time before midnight calculation doesn't work

Ok try this ther is a defrent formula if it is ending before or after 00:00
