Average a range of scores

I am trying to get an average score across a range of ratings (responses.

very simple way to compute average is to highlight the range and click "Home" look for the summation symbol..it is like an E symbol...click the arrow beside it and choose average

or

type

=Average(range)

erm what are you expecting to see?
=AVERAGE(B3:F23)

or to exclude 0s
=AVERAGEIF(B3:F23,"<>0")
