How to get data from part of a table

I have an excel file where I am collecting in depth stats of football players Ronaldo and Messi.

The sheet isn't "formatted as a table" but it has the following headings

Season | Date | Game number | Team Played | Total Goals Scored | etc etc up to 41 columns

I have set up another table on another page where I want to split up the stats where I can get totals of all the headings split up by year and season.

e.g

2009 2010 2011 2012 2013
GOals
Minutes
MPG
GPG
etc

and

Season 1 Season 2 Season 3

GOals
Minutes
MPG
GPG
etc

What is the easiest and quickest method to do this
