Hi All
I just need a simple function to prevent a user from filling out the next row until there is an entry in the above G cell
For example they would fill in A1 through F1 but could not enter anything into the rows below unless they entered something into G
Is this actually possible and if so, how?

I would guess you would need a macro for this, something along the lines of:
It needs to go in the sheet object module - press alt+F11 to enter the vba editor, then in the project explorer, click on objects and then the sheet name you want to apply it to, paste the code in the module window for this object.

Place the cursor on A2 cell and hold the shift key and extend the selection to right upto F2 and extend down for upto 10 row (i.e. until Row 11 – A2:F11).
Press Alt+D+L>>Settings>>Alloc>>Select Custom>>Formula>> Copy and paste the below formula
=$G1<>""
Click ok….
Now check and confirm….
