Calculating Number of Months between two given dates

We need a way to count the number of months between two different dates.


Assume that the first date will be the 1st of the month .... let's pick 9/1/2013.

The second date can be any day of the month .... let's say it's 5/23/2014.


We want the result (number of months between these two dates) to always round-down, so the result is a whole integer.
