    Red face Linked cells

    Hello!

Is there any way to make sure linked cells of two spreadsheets change with changes made to either spreadsheet.

    Example:

Work book #1 has cell A2 (with formula) linked to a data in Work book #2 cell H8 (contains value I need for formula in cell A2)

If I make change to cell location in Work book #2 cell H8 data moves to H9 (due to inserting a row and etc.) can I make my work book #1 cell A2 move to H9?

    Probably sounds confusing

    Thanks for anyone's help!!

    Re: Linked cells

When you insert a row, the formula should update automatically to the new cell. What is the formula that is linking the two cells?

You could perhaps consider using a named range?
